Dual-Capacity Mid-Range Telescopic Crawler Boom

The Tadano AS-42C Telescopic Crawler Boom is designed to tackle challenging access requirements with reach and stability. This model achieves a maximum working height of 48 feet and delivers extensive horizontal reach capabilities with a maximum outreach of 36.8 feet, making it ideal for complex lifting scenarios.

Distinguished by its dual lifting capacity system, the AS-42C offers remarkable flexibility with maximum load capacities of 990 pounds and 550 pounds, adapting to varied operational requirements. The machine features a generously-sized platform measuring 5.8 x 2.4 x 3.6 feet, providing ample workspace while maintaining maneuverability in confined spaces. It delivers positioning flexibility with full 360-degree rotation capability and platform rotation of 90 degrees in both directions.

Powered by a Kubota D1305 engine, the AS-42C combines power with efficiency. Its substantial 26.4-gallon fuel tank ensures extended operation times, while three travel speeds up to 1.7 miles/hour enable efficient site navigation. The crawler track system, featuring steel tracks with grey non-marking pads, maintains low ground pressure while providing maneuverability across various terrains.

Safety features include a comprehensive LED lighting system, emergency stop controls, foot and enabling switches and an auxiliary lowering control system.
