Italian heavy lifting and transport specialist Vernazza Autogru is strengthening its fleet with the addition of a brand new Tadano AC 7.450-1 all terrain crane – the same unit that was presented on the Tadano booth during bauma 2025 in Munich.
The Genoa-based company has also placed firm orders for three additional Tadano cranes – one AC 6.300-1, one AC 4.080-1, and one AC 4.070-2 – further expanding its capabilities across a wide range of lifting applications.
Diego Vernazza, CEO of Vernazza Autogru, explains the thinking behind the investment: “We’ve worked closely with Tadano for many years, and this latest delivery confirms why. The AC 7.450-1 sets a new benchmark on seven axles – compact, powerful, and incredibly versatile. Having our own fully branded unit on display at bauma was a proud moment, and we’re very happy to see it now ready for action in our fleet.”
With the size of a six-axle crane and the lifting performance of an eight-axle, the AC 7.450-1 offers outstanding reach, accessibility, and efficiency. Its 80-meter main boom is the longest in its class, while features like the Sideways Superlift system and Surround View system with integrated six-camera setup give it a significant edge on demanding job sites.
The upcoming AC 6.300-1 will add further flexibility to the Vernazza fleet. Compact and maneuverable, it is the smallest crane in its class to feature a luffing jib, making it ideal for inner-city and industrial jobs where space is limited. The third unit, the AC 4.080-1, delivers unbeatable lifting power in steep boom positions and stands out for its ability to carry significant counterweight while staying within standard axle load limits – a major advantage for road transport and rapid deployment.
Davide Camperi, Business Leader for Tadano in Italy, emphasizes the strength of the partnership: “Vernazza Autogru’s trust in Tadano and their decision to expand their fleet with not one, but three Tadano all terrain cranes, is a strong endorsement of our machines and our support. We’re proud to see their AC 7.450-1 take the spotlight at bauma and even prouder to see it now ready to deliver performance on the ground.”
With these latest additions, Vernazza Autogru continues to invest in top-tier lifting solutions to meet the evolving needs of its clients across Italy and beyond.
