Built for professional operators who need a balance of working height, outreach, and transport practicality, the Oil&Steel Scorpion 18 provides a maximum working height of 17.8 meters, a 12.5-meter horizontal outreach, and a 300 kg basket load capacity.
Mounted on the Iveco Daily 35S14H (3.5t), the Scorpion 18 combines the comfort and safety of a modern Euro VIe truck with the efficiency of a robust aerial platform. Its electro-hydraulic aerial controls, hydraulic outriggers, and ±400° column rotation give operators flexible maneuverability, while the ±90° basket rotation ensures precise positioning.
The standard 1.4 x 1.1 x 0.7 m aluminum basket carries two operators, with alternative fiberglass basket options available for electrical work (including insulated versions up to 1 kV). Advanced safety features include a moment detection and limiting system, homing function, emergency descent systems (manual and electrical), anti-collision protections, and fully enclosed hoses and cables inside the booms.
In transport mode, the Scorpion 18 measures 7.35 m length, 2.275 m width, and 2.745 m height, making it compact and easy to move between job sites.
Standard features include PTO with automatic release, engine controls from basket and column, stainless-steel fasteners, anti-slip decking, and corrosion-resistant paint.
Optional extras range from automatic stabilization, Comfort Pack for the truck cabin (A/C, infotainment, ergonomic seat), fiberglass baskets, toolboxes, debris protection kits, remote connectivity, lighting and power supply kits, and customized painting or labels.
