OUR COMPANY
Tadano America Corporation (TAC) is the Pan-American sales base for rough terrain cranes, all terrain cranes, telescopic boom crawler and lattice boom crawler cranes. Our Houston, Texas corporate office includes 46,000+ square feet for parts and storage, with direct-to-customer support from Houston and Edmonton, Alberta. You will find TAC’s field service staff across the continent, with products available through a broad network of dealers, agents, and partnerships. We believe machines should benefit everyone: owners, the community, and our shared environment. Using state-of-the-art operating systems and field-proven design features, Tadano is a technological leader in its ideals and core values of safety, quality, and efficiency.
OUR HISTORY
Tadano started in 1919 when founder Masuo Tadano began a welding business in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. The welding business sowed the seeds for later production of machines for tile manufacturing, vegetable oil presses, and railroad track maintenance in subsequent decades; by 1955, Tadano was focused on hydraulics and cranes. Through internal growth and well-aligned acquisitions, Tadano has grown into Japan’s leading crane manufacturer and among the top worldwide.
