Product description

Electric Compact Articulated Crawler Boom

The Tadano eAA-9MC Electric Articulated Crawler Boom combines powerful performance with zero-emission operation. This model achieves a maximum working height of 8.80 meters and a maximum outreach of 4.45 meters, while maintaining a load capacity of 150 kilograms for diverse lifting applications.

Powered by an AC 3-phase motor delivering 5 kW of rated power and equipped with high-capacity AGM maintenance-free batteries, the fully electric eAA-9MC delivers performance equivalent to its diesel-powered counterpart but with clean, quiet and low-vibration operation. The machine’s exceptional battery life allows for up to three days of operation on a single charge, based on standard usage of 15 cycles per day (test cycle included comprehensive movements including 5-meter travel, full boom operations, platform rotation and slewing), making it ideal for extended work periods.

The eAA-9MC features zero tail swing and 360-degree rotation capability, while its compact platform dimensions of 0.62 x 0.77 x 1.10 meters enable precise maneuvering in confined spaces. The machine offers versatile platform movement with a swing angle ranging from 90 degrees left to 40 degrees right and includes a hand pump emergency lowering system for enhanced safety.

With its grey non-marking tracks and low-ground pressure design, the eAA-9MC is perfectly suited for both indoor and outdoor applications, including urban construction, underground work and tunnel operations. The machine offers three travel speeds up to 2.2 kilometers/hour, providing efficient movement across work sites. Safety features include emergency stop buttons, foot and enabling switches, auxiliary lowering control and LED lighting, making it a comprehensive solution for environmentally conscious aerial work applications.

This electric crawler boom exemplifies Tadano’s commitment to sustainable construction equipment without compromising on performance or reliability. It particularly excels in urban and indoor construction, underground work and tunnels due to its clean, quiet operation with low vibration and minimal heat generation.
